Design and Brand Activation

The Finca Dis Vistas logo is designed to be earthy and organic, incorporating the farm’s unique elements. The centerpiece of the design is an illustration of the iconic cocoa drying house, a traditional feature that speaks to the farm’s heritage and artisanal approach. Surrounding the drying house, abstract cocoa pods and leaves are woven into the design, representing the farm’s primary crop.

The color palette is grounded in shades of rich red, symbolizing the vibrancy of cocoa, and soft beige, which highlights the natural, rustic feel of the farm. The use of these colors adds a warm and welcoming tone to the logo, connecting the brand to its roots in Trinidad’s fertile cocoa-growing region.

The typography is clean and modern, with subtle rustic touches, ensuring the logo remains approachable and reflective of the farm’s natural aesthetic. The design is simple yet elegant, representing the farm’s focus on quality, tradition, and local produce.

Brand Identity:

The brand identity extends the organic and earthy aesthetic introduced in the logo. Red and beige dominate the branding materials, from product packaging to signage, evoking warmth and authenticity. Cocoa-inspired illustrations, including cocoa pods, trees, and leaves, are featured throughout, reinforcing the farm’s connection to nature and tradition.

Typography across the brand is clean yet slightly rustic, balancing modern design with the farm’s artisanal heritage. The branding also incorporates elements of the surrounding natural beauty, using scenic imagery from the Heights of Aripo to further immerse customers in the farm’s story.

Challenge

One challenge was capturing the essence of the farm’s cocoa production in a modern, professional logo while maintaining the rustic, heritage feel central to the brand. The design needed to reflect both the artisanal nature of the products and the farm’s deep connection to the local landscape and traditions.

Another challenge was ensuring that the use of red and beige didn’t overpower the design. Careful attention was given to creating a balance between the earthy tones and ensuring the details of the cocoa drying house and other elements remained clear and visually appealing.
